Age limits

• General age limit is 35 years for most posts, with relaxation up to 40 years for Senior-PAT. Relaxations apply for SC/ST/PwBD/Women/OBC as per government norms.

Eligibility details

• Project Associate-II (PAT-II): M.Tech in Metallurgical & Materials Engineering or B.Tech in Metallurgical & Materials Engineering, plus 2 years of R&D experience in industry, academic institutions, or S&T organizations.
• Senior - PAT: M.Tech in Metallurgical & Materials Engineering or B.Tech in Metallurgical & Materials Engineering, plus 3 years of R&D experience in industry, academic institutions, or S&T organizations.
• Project Assistant-II (PA-II): B.Sc. in Chemistry.
• Project Associate-I (PAT-I): M.Sc. in Chemistry or B.Tech in Chemical/Metallurgical Engineering.
• Project Associate-II (PAT-II): M.Tech in Chemical/Metallurgical Engineering or B.Tech in Chemical/Metallurgical Engineering with 2 years of R&D experience.
• Project Assistant-II (PA-II): Diploma or equivalent as specified for Mechanical or other relevant disciplines.
• Project Assistant-I (PA-I): SSC/10th plus ITI in relevant trades.
• Project Associate-I (PAT-I): M.Sc. in Chemistry/Physics or Material Sciences, or B.Tech in Chemical/Electrochemical Engineering or Technology.
• Project Associate-I (PAT-I): M.Sc. in Chemistry.
• Project Associate-I (PAT-I): M.Sc. in Chemistry or B.E/B.Tech in Chemical/ Metallurgy/ Materials Science & Engineering.
• Project Associate-II (PAT-II): M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 2 years of R&D experience.
• Project Assistant II (PA-II): 3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Project Associate-I (PAT-I): B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• Project Assistant - II (PA-II): 3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Project Assistant - II (PA-II): B.Sc. in Information Technology/ Computer Science.
