CSL Recruitment 2025: Apply Online for Senior Project Officer and Project Officer Posts

Age Limits

• Project Officer: not to exceed 30 years as on 31 December 2025.
• Senior Project Officer: not to exceed 35 years as on 31 December 2025.
• Age relaxations (e.g., for ex-servicemen) may apply as per government rules. The overall age limit shall not exceed 50 years after applying relaxations.

Eligibility Details

Senior Project Officer (Mechanical / Electrical)

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized university.

Senior Project Officer (Safety)

• Degree in Safety Engineering OR Engineering degree (any branch) OR degree in Physics/Chemistry OR Diploma in Engineering (any branch).

Project Officer (Safety)

• Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Industrial Safety recognized by the State Government. (requirements may vary based on base degree/diploma).

Experience (Essential)

• SPO (Mechanical/Electrical): Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience in Shipbuilding/Repair/Marine-related sectors, ports, engineering, government or semi-government companies.
• SPO (Safety): 4 years (Engineering degree holders); 7 years (other degree/diploma holders) in safety/production/maintenance within a Shipyard/Factory handling HSE activities.
• PO (Safety): 2 years (Engineering degree holders); 5 years (other degree/diploma holders) in safety/production/maintenance within a Shipyard/Factory handling HSE activities.

Desirable & Experience

• Proficiency in computer applications (AutoCAD, SAP, MS Project, MS Office, etc.) is preferred. Training with remuneration is considered as experience. Certificates from registered/foreign companies are acceptable.

Other Qualifications

• Experience acquired after the stipulated qualification date is considered, reckoned as of 31 December 2025.

Application Fee

• ₹400 (non-refundable, plus bank charges). The fee is payable online.
• SC/ST candidates are exempt from payment of the application fee.

General Information and Instructions

• The posts are contractual for up to five years.
• CSL units may include posting at CSL AN Ship Repair Unit (CANSRU), Sri Vijaya Puram, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, or other CSL units/sites.
• PwBD suitability is not applicable for all posts due to job requirements.
• Ensure eligibility before applying and upload all required certificates.
• No TA/DA for attending selection. Call letters will be sent by email or posted on the CSL website.

2. Complete the one-time SAP Online registration and submit the application from 16 December 2025 to 31 December 2025.
3. Upload all required certificates and a recent passport-size color photograph.
4. Ensure the application status shows "In process" after submission.
5. Retain a soft copy/printout of the online application with the registration number for future reference.
6. Do not send printed certificates by post.
