Eligibility Details

1. College Librarian (4 Posts)

• Master’s Degree in Library Science, Information Science, or Documentation Science (minimum 55% marks).
• Good academic record and knowledge of library computerization.
• UGC NET/CSIR/UGC-SET/SLET or Ph.D. as per UGC regulations.
• Desirable: M.A. in Sanskrit; knowledge of Hindi/English; knowledge of epigraphy or manuscripts.
• Age: As per UGC norms.

2. Section Officer (1 Post)

• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
• 3 years’ experience as Assistant (Level 6) or 8 years as UDC (Level 4) in a Central/State Govt., University, PSU, or reputed private company (minimum annual turnover Rs 200 crores).
• Proficiency in computer operation, noting, and drafting.
• Age: 35 years.

3. Assistant (15 Posts)

• Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
• 3 years’ experience as UDC (Level 4) in Central/State Government, University, PSU, or reputed private company (minimum annual turnover Rs 200 crores).
• Proficiency in typing, computer applications, noting, and drafting.
• Age: 35 years.

4. Professional Assistant (1 Post)

• Master’s Degree in Library & Information Science with 2 years of relevant library experience, OR
• Bachelor’s Degree in Library/Library & Information Science with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of computer applications.
• Age: 35 years.

5. Upper Development Clerk (UDC) (6 Posts)

• Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institute/university.
• 2 years’ experience as Lower Division Clerk (LDC) in University/Govt./PSU/Autonomous Bodies or reputed private companies.
• English typing at 35 wpm or Hindi typing at 30 wpm.
• Proficiency in computer operations.
• Age: 32 years.

6. Lower Division Clerk (LDC) (16 Posts)

• Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institute/university.
• English typing at 35 wpm or Hindi typing at 30 wpm.
• Proficiency in computer operations.
• Age: 32 years.

Application Fees

• College Librarian: General/OBC Rs. 3,000; SC/ST/PwBD Rs. 1,500
• LDC/UDC/Assistant/Section Officer/Professional Assistant: General/OBC Rs. 1,000; SC/ST/PwBD Rs. 500

Note: Fee payment is online only. Separate fees are required for each post when applying for multiple posts. Fees are non-refundable.

Other Instructions

• Dual submission: both online application and hard copy must reach the designated address by the deadlines.
• Apply for different post categories in different zones separately; one post category per zone is allowed per candidate.
• Examination centers include Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai; choose any center irrespective of zone.
• Eligibility is calculated as of the application closing date (27-02-2026).
• Original certificates must be produced during document verification. No TA/DA is provided for examination/interview.
• CSU reserves the right to cancel or modify vacancies at any stage. Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
• Territorial jurisdiction for legal disputes is the Delhi High Court.
