Primary Level (Class 1 to 5)

• Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (passed or appearing in final year).
• Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE 2002 Norms (passed or appearing in final year).
• Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) (passed or appearing in final year).
• Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) (passed or appearing in final year).
• Bachelor Degree (Graduation) with at least 50% marks and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) (passed or appearing in final year).
  • Note: Candidates with a B.Ed from an NCTE recognized institution will be considered for appointment as a teacher in classes I to V, provided they undergo a six-month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE within two years of appointment.
• Post-Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade and a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. (passed or appearing in final year).

Junior Level (Class 6 to 8)

• Graduation Degree and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (passed or appearing in final year).
• At least 50% marks in Graduation or Post-Graduation and a Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) (passed or appearing in final year).
• Graduation with at least 45% marks and a 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with NCTE Norms (passed or appearing in final year).
• Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) (passed or appearing in final year).
• Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed (passed or appearing in final year).
• Graduation with at least 50% marks and a 1-year B.Ed. / (B.Ed Special Education) (passed or appearing in final year).
  • Note: Any candidate who has qualified for a B.Ed. program recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET. As per existing TET guidelines, a person pursuing any teacher education course recognized by the NCTE or RCI is also qualified to appear in the TET/CTET.
• Post-Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade and a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. (passed or appearing in final year).

For a single paper: General/OBC/EWS candidates: ₹1000; SC/ST/PH candidates: ₹500. For both papers (Primary/Junior): General/OBC/EWS candidates: ₹1200; SC/ST/PH candidates: ₹600. Payment can be made online via Net Banking, Debit Card, or Credit Card.

Candidates should carefully read the CTET Notification 2024 before filling out the online application form. All columns in the application form, such as candidate's name, father's name, mother's name, date of birth, address, and qualification details, must be filled accurately to avoid errors. If required, all documents must be uploaded in the correct size and format (PDF or JPEG). Before submitting the form, candidates should re-check all columns and documents for accuracy. After submission, it is advisable to print or save a PDF copy of the application form for future reference. The CTET 2024 result release date has not yet been published in the notification.
