DCIL Recruitment 2026: Fleet Personnel & Trainees Notification with Walk-In Interview on 23 June 2026

Eligibility details

Trainee Marine Engineer (TME)

• Degree: 4-year Marine Engineering degree from an IMU-affiliated college / DG Shipping approved institute / State or Central Government recognised institute / AICTE-approved institute
• Note: Graduate Marine Engineering certificate after a 4-year engineering degree is acceptable. Candidates holding or applying for MEO Class IV COC are not eligible for TME.

Trainee Electrical Officer (TELO)

• Degree: 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication / Communication Engineering, or Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering from a Government or AICTE-recognised institute
• Additional: 4-month Electro Technical Officer (ETO) course from a DG Shipping approved institute and basic STCW 2010 certificates.

NCV Trainee (NCV(T))

• Qualification: SSC / 10th Class from a recognised board and completion of a Pre-Sea GP Rating course with a DG Shipping approved Exit Examination (minimum 60% aggregate)
• Age: less than 25 years on joining onboard

• Basic STCW 2010 Certificates
