Eligibility Details

Resource Person

Essential: Class XII + 3 years of experience in TV/Doordarshan programme production and coordination OR Graduation with professional diploma in TV programme production / mass communication / journalism OR Graduation with professional degree/diploma in a specific field.

Post Production Assistant (Non Linear)

Essential: Professional Degree/Diploma in Video Editing. Desirable: Two years of experience in TV/Doordarshan/Video programme production.

Post Production Assistant (Graphics)

Essential: Degree/Diploma in Visual Arts/Multimedia/Design/Animation/Graphics. Desirable: Two years of experience in TV/Doordarshan/Video programme production.

Video Assistant

Essential: Professional Degree/Diploma in Videography. Desirable: Two years of experience in TV/Digital/Video programmes.

Beautician and Hair Dresser

Essential: Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Make Up/Beauty Course. Desirable: Two years of experience in makeup for TV/digital programmes.

Set Assistant

Essential: Class XII. Desirable: Two years of experience in set-related work for TV/Doordarshan/digital/video programmes.

Social Media Assistant

Essential: Class XII and Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Digital Marketing/Social Media. Desirable: Six months of experience in website designing/digital marketing/social media.

C.G. Operator

Essential: Graduation and typing speed of at least 35 wpm in English and/or 30 wpm in Hindi/respective regional language. Desirable: Certificate in computer graphics/graphic designing.

Library Assistant

Essential: Graduation with MS Excel certification. Desirable: Diploma in Library Science.

Camera Assistant

Essential: Class XII.

Important Dates

Date of Notification / Publication: 25-02-2026

Last Date for Submission of Application: 28-03-2026 (offline) / within 30 days from the date of publication on the website depending on category and submission mode.

Application Fees

There is no application fee for any category of Casual Assignee empanelment at DDK Agartala.

Other Instructions

• This empanelment is not for a regular or permanent government post. Empanelled Casual Assignees may be engaged for up to seven assignments per month.
• Applications without proper enclosures will be rejected. Canvassing in any form will attract rejection.
• If applying for multiple categories, submit separate application forms.
• The Director General, Doordarshan, reserves the right to cancel the empanelment process at any time without prior notice.
• Check Annexure I-A for the prescribed application format and required documents (educational certificates, age proof, residence proof, experience certificates, CV, etc.).

How to Apply

• Eligible candidates should submit the prescribed Annexure I-A format along with copies of required documents by Speed Post or email. Email submissions must reach within 30 days from the date of publication. Hand delivery or courier submissions are not accepted.
• Email submissions should be sent as a single PDF with the subject line “Empanelment Of (Name of the Category of Casual Assignees Being applied for) for DDK, Agartala” to the designated address.
