Age Limit

• General (UR): 18 to 40 years as on 01-01-2026
• SC/ST/OBC/Other Backward Classes: 5 years relaxation (max 45 years)
• Freedom Fighter Dependants: 5 years relaxation (max 45 years)
• Ex-Servicemen: Actual age minus military service period

Educational Qualifications

• Minimum: 10th pass from a recognized board/institution approved by the Uttarakhand State Government

Domicile Requirement

• Permanent Resident of Dehradun District; domicile proof as per Govt. Order No. 2588/1-4/SA0PR0/2001 dated 20 Nov 2001

Desirable

• NCC/NSS/Scout Guide certificate; knowledge of the local language
