Age Details

• Minimum age: 21 years

• Departmental candidates: Up to +5 years (subject to norms)

Post-wise Eligibility

All posts share the same age limit and general eligibility requirements, with qualifications specified per post:

Assistant Engineer (Civil)

• Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised university/institute.

Assistant Engineer (Mechanical)

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised university/institute.

Junior Engineer (Civil)

• Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised university, OR a three-year Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised University/Board/Institution.

Junior Engineer (Electrical)

• Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognised university, OR a three-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognised University/Board/Institution.

Age Limit

• 21 to 30 years as on 14 August 2026. Relaxation as per government norms for reserved categories and PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, and departmental candidates.

Note: OBC candidates must provide a Non-Creamy Layer certificate; EWS candidates must provide an Income & Asset certificate issued in the specified window.
