Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualification

• Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry, Agriculture Chemistry, Botany, or Agriculture with Plant Physiology/Toxicology as one of the subjects.

Desirable Qualification

• PhD in Organic Chemistry, Agriculture Chemistry, Botany, or Agriculture with Plant Physiology/Toxicology as one of the subjects.

Experience

• Relevant research experience of two years.

How to Apply

• Interested candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria should submit their application in the prescribed proforma (Annexure-I).
• The application should be submitted in a sealed cover, superscribed with the post name and contract basis in the Non Chemical Fertilizer Cell in DA&FW.
• The application must reach the office of the Deputy Secretary (INM), Room No. 26, Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi, along with copies of degree certificates, mark sheets, experience (if any), PAN card, and Aadhaar card.
• A recent passport-size photograph should be pasted at the top right corner of the application form.

General Information

• The engagement is on a contractual basis for one year, extendable for a further period of two years subject to annual performance review and approval of the competent authority.
• The role is on a full-time basis, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM on working days.
• No other assignment is allowed during the contractual period.
• There is no entitlement to regular appointment in DA&FW or any other post in the Government of India.
• The engagement may be terminated with 30 days’ notice by the office without assigning any reasons.
