Age Limit

As on 31-01-2026, applicants must be between 18 and 45 years of age.

Eligibility Details

• Minimum educational qualification: Matriculation (10th) from any school/institution located in Himachal Pradesh. The requirement to pass 10th from a Himachal Pradesh School is not applicable to bonafide Himachalis.
• Knowledge of Animal Husbandry activities and familiarity with the customs, manners, and dialects of HP.
• Preference will be given based on practical experience in Animal Husbandry, determined by certificates as per Annexure-B.

General Instructions

1. Apply on the prescribed Annexure-A form (A-4 size) attached with the advertisement.
2. Fill the form in blue/black ink and ensure all required qualifications and documents are attached.
3. The last date for receipt of applications is 31-01-2026 by 3:00 PM.
4. Attach self-attested photocopies of certificates; originals will be verified at the time of counselling.
5. For engagement as Pashu Mitra, submit a medical fitness certificate as per Annexure-C.
6. The waiting list will be valid for one year from the result declaration; replacements will follow merit as per the established process.
