Age

Eligibility by Post

Lecturer (PGT)

• Post Graduation, Graduation and B.Ed with minimum 55% marks in all degrees. Post Graduation must be in the relevant subject. Preference for experience in teaching senior secondary classes.

Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)

• Post Graduation, Graduation and B.Ed with minimum 50% marks in all degrees. Post Graduation in the relevant subject. Subject combination in B.Ed as per the post.

Physical Education / Music / Art & Craft / Computer

• Physical Education: M.P.Ed
• Music: M.A (Music)
• Art & Craft: M.A (Fine Arts)
• Computer: Master’s Degree in Computer Science (no B.Ed required).

General Teachers

• Graduation and B.Ed with minimum 50% marks. Preference for CTET/PTET.

Nursery Teacher (NTT)

• NTT qualification mandatory. Preference for Graduation and B.Ed.

General requirements

• Candidates must have passed Punjabi up to Class 10.

Salary

• As per SGPC rules and recognized school boards.
