Age

• Maximum age: 28 years.
• Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST candidates; 3 years for OBC candidates. OBC candidates belonging to the creamy layer are not eligible for age relaxation.

JRF - Library & Information Science

• B.Sc (First Class) + M.L.I.Sc (First Class) from a UGC-recognized university and UGC-NET qualified. Desirable: M.Sc in Basic Sciences.

JRF - Computer Science & Engineering

• B.E/B.Tech (First Class) in Computer Science & Engineering from a UGC-recognized university with a qualified GATE score. OR B.E/B.Tech (First Class) and M.E/M.Tech (First Class) in Computer Science & Engineering from a UGC-recognized university. Desirable: Programming in Advanced Java; RDBMS.

Walk-In Procedure

• Read the official notification carefully before attending.
• Report to the venue at the specified reporting time.
• Bring original documents and one set of self-attested photocopies (ID proof, educational certificates, experience certificates if any, and category certificate if applicable).
• Carry the duly filled application form if required.
• Arrive early to complete registration formalities and keep extra passport-size photographs handy for submission, if required.

Venue and Reporting

• Venue: Defence Scientific Information and Documentation Centre (DESIDOC DRDO), Delhi - 110054.
• Reporting time: 0900 hrs to 1000 hrs; initial screening from 0930 hrs to 10:30 hrs.

Selection Process

• Walk-in interview, and possibly an examination depending on candidate numbers, followed by screening and verification of testimonials.
