DHFWS Jhargram Recruitment 2026: 38 Yoga Instructor, Medical Officer and Other Posts (Contractual)

Age Details

• Yoga Instructor (Male/Female): 18-40 years.
• Community Health Assistant (Urban), Multi Rehabilitation Worker, Group-D (AYUSH): 21-40 years (except AYUSH group).
• Specialist Medical Officers, Medical Officers: up to 62 years (with some categories up to 67 years for Psychiatrist).
• Group-D (AYUSH): 62 years as on 01.01.2026 for upper limit.
• Age relaxation as per state norms and reserved category policies.

Eligibility Details

Specialist Medical Officer (G & O) / (Pediatrician)

• MBBS from an NMC/MCI-recognized institute with Post-Graduate degree, DNB, or Diploma in Gynaecology & Obstetrics or Paediatrics.
• Must be registered with WBMC.
• Permanent resident of West Bengal with knowledge of the local language.
• Posting: Any RH of the district.

Medical Officer (GDMO) / Medical Officer (XVFC)

• MBBS from an NMC-recognized institute with one-year compulsory internship.
• Must be registered with WBMC.
• Permanent resident of West Bengal with knowledge of the local language.
• Posting: Any RH (GDMO) / any UHWC under Jhargram Municipality (XVFC).

Psychiatrist

• MBBS with PG Degree (MD/DNB) or Diploma (DPM) in Psychiatry from a UGC-recognized university and recognized by MCI/NMC/NBEMS.
• Valid WBMC registration.
• Desirable: Experience in Psychiatry/Public Health Service.
• Permanent resident of West Bengal with knowledge of the local language.

Specialist Medical Officer (Medicine/Paediatrics/G & O/Ophthalmology - Part Time)

• MBBS with relevant PG Degree/DNB/Diploma in Medicine/Paediatric Medicine/Gynaecology & Obstetrics/Ophthalmology.
• Registered with WBMC.
• Permanent resident of West Bengal with knowledge of the local language.
• Posting: Any UHWC and Polyclinic of the district.

Community Health Assistant (Urban)

• Passed ANM or GNM courses from INC-recognized institutes and registered with West Bengal Nursing Council.
• Proficient in Bengali and permanent resident of Jhargram District.

Multi Rehabilitation Worker

• Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy with at least 2 years’ experience in a hospital.
• Desirable: Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy.

District Manager (Public Health)

• MBBS/Dental/AYUSH/Nursing graduate with Masters in Hospital Administration/Health Management (MHA).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Public Health/Hospital Administration.
• Desired: Training in recognized quality systems (e.g., NABH/ISO 9001-2008/Six Sigma/Kaizen).

Blood Bank Laboratory Technician

• 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biological Science; DMLT/DLT or BMLT or M.Sc in MLT or PGDMLT from a government-recognized university.
• Computer literacy.
• Experience in licensed Blood Bank.`

Yoga Instructor (Male/Female)

• Secondary/Madhyamik followed by One-year Yoga and Naturopathy Certificate from WBCYN.
• Registered with WBCYN.
• Permanent resident of West Bengal.

Group-D (AYUSH)

• Retired State Government employees.
• Upper age limit 62 years as on 01.01.2026.
• Must be physically and mentally fit.

• Caste certificates (including OBC A/B) and disability certificates must be issued by competent West Bengal authorities before the last date.

• Online registration number must be preserved; it will not be provided later by the employer.
• Marks must be calculated without rounding; proportionate marks up to two decimal places will be considered.
