Age Limits

• Medical Officer (UHWC), Dental Surgeon, Occupational Therapist: Below 40 years.
• Staff Nurse / MLHP, Lab Technician (Grade III): Below 50 years.
• Multi Purpose Health Worker (Health Inspector Grade II): Below 35 years.
• Physiotherapist, Audiologist (GMCH), Audiometrician/Audiometric Assistant, Audiologist & SLP (JDHS), Early Interventionist, Account Assistant, Counsellor, OT Technician: Below 35 years.
• Hospital Worker / MPHW / Sanitary Worker / Security: Below 59 years. Note: Age relaxation is applicable as per Tamil Nadu government rules for reserved categories. Priority is given to currently serving contractual staff where applicable.

Eligibility by Post

• Medical Officer (UHWC): MBBS (UGC-recognized) and Tamil Nadu Medical Council registration.
• Staff Nurse / MLHP (UHWC / Rural): Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (DGNM) or B.Sc. Nursing (INC-recognized).
• Multi Purpose Health Worker (Health Inspector - Grade II): Plus Two with Biology or related subjects; 2-year MPHW/Health Inspector/Sanitary Inspector certificate.
• Dental Surgeon: BDS; registered with Tamil Nadu Dental Council.
• Physiotherapist: Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy (BPT).
• Audiologist (GMCH): B.Sc. Audiology; relevant certificate in Audiometry.
• Audiometrician / Audiometric Assistant (JDHS): 1-year Diploma in Hearing, Language and Speech.
• Audiologist & Speech Language Pathologist (JDHS): B.Audiology & Speech Language Pathology or B.Sc. (Speech and Hearing).
• Early Interventionist cum Special Educator cum Social Worker: Postgraduate in Sociology/Social Work or Bachelor in Physiotherapy.
• Occupational Therapist: Bachelors/Master’s in Occupational Therapy; minimum 2 years’ service as applicable.
• Account Assistant: B.Com with accounting experience and computer skills (Tally).
• Lab Technician (Grade III): Diploma in MLT or equivalent + related qualifications.
• Counsellor: Graduate/Postgraduate in Psychology/Social Work/Sociology/Anthropology/Human Development/Nursing with HIV/AIDS experience.
• OT Technician / OT Assistant: 3-month OT training.
• Hospital Worker / MPHW / Sanitary Worker / Security: 8th pass (Tamil reading/writing).
