• Practice in criminal law for at least 7 years

• Skills in legal research; ethical duties of defence counsel
• IT knowledge and proficiency in office work

Assistant Legal Aid Defence Counsel

• 0 to 3 years of practice in criminal law
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Understanding of ethical duties of defence counsel
• Ability to work effectively in a team; strong writing and research skills
• IT knowledge and proficiency in office work
