  • STA-B: UR/OBC/EWS/MSP/Women/SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen - ₹250 (non-refundable); Refundable ₹500; Total ₹750. Refundable ₹500 if the candidate appears in Tier-I CBT.
  • Tech-A: General/OBC/EWS/MSP - ₹100 (non-refundable); Refundable ₹500; Total ₹600. Refundable ₹500 if the candidate appears in Tier-I CBT.
  • Note: Refundable fee applies only to candidates who appear for Tier-I CBT. Fee paid is non-refundable under any circumstances. Online payment only (Net Banking/Credit/Debit/UPI). Last date for fee payment: 13-01-2026 (23:55 Hours). Ex-servicemen who have obtained employment on civil side under Central Government are not eligible for fee waiver.

General Instructions

  • All eligibility conditions are determined with reference to the crucial date of eligibility: 01-01-2026.
  • Higher qualifications (M.Sc., B.Tech, B.E., Ph.D., etc.) as of the eligibility date are NOT eligible.
  • Result of final qualifying examination awaited as of the eligibility date is NOT eligible.
  • Only Indian Nationals may apply.
  • Selected candidates will have All India service liability and may be posted anywhere in India, including field/remote areas.
  • Candidates must be willing to serve a minimum of five years at the first place of posting; requests for transfer during this period will not be entertained.
  • Provisionally shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification and Medical Examination.
  • Night or colour blindness may lead to disqualification.
  • DRDO reserves the right to modify vacancies or cancel the recruitment without notice. Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
  • Can apply for only one post code; multiple applications for different post codes will be canceled.
