Educational Qualifications

Pursuing Engineering Degree (7th/8th semester) or M.Tech/M.Sc (1st/2nd year) in full-time programs from recognised Indian universities/institutes, with a minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA.

Age limit is below 28 years. Applications require institutional endorsement (a recommendation letter from the Principal/Director for highly deserving students) and a brief bio-data of up to 300 words highlighting achievements. Include any awards or professional memberships in the application.

How to Apply

1. Submit the application by Speed Post to: The Director, HEMRL, Sutarwadi, Pune - 411021, attn: HRD Division.
2. Mark the envelope with “Application for Paid Internship” and include the relevant Branch Code.
3. Use the prescribed “Application for Paid Internship Scheme” format provided in the advertisement.
4. Include CGPA, discipline, branch code, degree, semester/year, achievements, languages known, and a referral letter from the Principal/Director.
5. Enclose: reference letter from Principal/Director, UG/PG marksheets reflecting CGPA, and a copy of the latest Aadhaar card.
6. Selected interns must submit NOC from college, police verification acknowledgement, undertakings (Official Secrets Act and IT rules), bank details, medical fitness certificate, original Aadhaar & college IDs, passport-size photographs, and all previous semester mark sheets for verification.

Salary and Stipend

• Rs. 5,000 per month for six months.
• Stipend paid in two installments, subject to minimum 15 working days per month of attendance and completion of at least three months of training.
• No stipend if 03 months are not completed; certificate issued only upon successful completion.

Additional Information

• HEMRL/DRDO is not obligated to offer employment after internship. Completion certificates are issued only upon full tenure.
• Boarding/lodging expenses are not provided; subsidised meals may be available at the canteen.
