Age Details

• Maximum age limit: 56 years as of 19 June 2026 (closing date).
• Age relaxations apply as per category, with specifics provided in the official notification.

Essential Qualifications

• For Scientist E (Level 13): First Division BE/B.Tech in relevant engineering discipline with about 11 years of post-qualification experience in research or development.
• For Scientist D (Level 12): First Division BE/B.Tech in relevant engineering discipline with about 7 years of post-qualification experience.
• For Scientist C (Level 11): First Division BE/B.Tech or equivalent with about 3 years of post-qualification experience.
• Encadered posts (DRDS) also included with similar broad qualification requirements.

General Requirements

• First Division (60% or equivalent) in essential degree; CGPA conversions accepted per university rules.
• Age limits as specified in the notification; experience counted after essential qualification.
• Experience and qualifications must be in relevant discipline as detailed in the notification.

Instructions and Notes

• The Final Personal Interview is in-person at RAC, Delhi; no online/virtual interviews are allowed.
• Candidates must score a minimum of 75% marks (75/100) in the Final Personal Interview for eligibility.
