Age Limit

• Maximum age limit: 50 years as on 31-03-2026 (except for DRES employees).
• Age relaxation as per Government of India rules for SC/ST and other categories.

Educational Qualifications

• English Teacher (Class VI to XII): Postgraduate degree with at least 50% marks, B.Ed. or equivalent, or Four years Integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. or Four-year integrated degree with B.Ed. component. Proficiency in English and Hindi media.
• Maths Teacher (Class IX to XII): Postgraduate degree with at least 50% marks, B.Ed. or equivalent, or Four years Integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. or Four-year integrated degree with B.Ed. component. Proficiency in teaching in English and Hindi media.
• Computer Science Teacher (Class VI to XII): B.E./B.Tech in CS/IT with at least 50% marks or equivalent, or B.E./B.Tech and Postgraduate Diploma in Computers, or M.Sc. (Computer Science)/MCA or equivalent, or B.Sc. (CS)/BCA with PG degree, or DOEACC levels with PG degree, or other recognized combinations as detailed in the notification.
• Social Science Teacher (Class VI to X): Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate with two subjects (History, Geography, Economics, Pol. Science), B.Ed. or equivalent, and CTET Paper-II qualification.
• Math Teacher (Class VI to X): Four-year integrated degree with at least 50% marks in subject and aggregate, or equivalent combinations including B.Ed. and CTET qualification.
• Sanskrit/Odia Teacher (Class IV to X): Four-year integrated degree with at least 50% marks, or equivalent, with B.Ed./M.Ed. or integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. and CTET qualifications.
• Hindi Teacher (Class I to VII): Senior Secondary with 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) or 4-year B.El.Ed. or B.Ed. or Four-year integrated degree with B.Ed. component.
• Science Teacher (Class I to VIII): Bachelor/Honours with at least 50% marks and B.Ed., or integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed., plus CTET qualification and relevant subject specialization (Chemistry/Botany/Zoology).
• LDC: Class XII pass; typing speed 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi; knowledge of computer applications and MS-Office.
