ESIC Medical College & Hospital Surat Recruitment 2026 - Walk-in for 85 Teaching Faculty, Senior Residents and Tutor/Demonstrator Posts

Age Limit

• Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor: Not exceeding 67 years as on 29-06-2026.
• Senior Resident and Tutor/Demonstrator: Not exceeding 45 years as on 29-06-2026. Age relaxations as per Government of India norms apply. The engagement tenure for teaching faculty may extend up to 70 years where applicable.

Educational Qualifications

Educational qualifications for all posts are determined as per the latest National Medical Commission (NMC/MCI) guidelines. Candidates must possess MBBS and, where applicable, MD/MS/DNB qualifications relevant to the post and department. The notification specifies contractual engagement for teaching faculty, Senior Resident, and Tutor/Demonstrator roles across 24 departments.

• Notification released: 17 June 2026
• Eligibility cut-off date: 29 June 2026
• Walk-in interviews (Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, etc.): 06 July 2026
• Interviews by department: 07-09 July 2026
• Reporting time: 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on scheduled interview dates Candidates reporting after 10:00 AM will be considered absent.

Application Fee

• General/Other Categories: Rs. 500 ( payable via Demand Draft in favor of "ESI Fund A/c No.-1" at Surat ).
• SC/ST/ESIC Regular Employees/Female Candidates/Defense Ex-servicemen/PH: Nil. Fees are non-refundable once paid. Ensure eligibility before submitting the DD.

Important Instructions

• This is a purely offline walk-in recruitment. No online application portal is available.
• Candidates must appear in person for document verification and interview.
• Reporting times are strictly 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on the respective interview date. Late reporting will lead to disqualification.
• Original documents along with self-attested copies are required for verification. Missing documents can lead to disqualification.
• Selected candidates will be appointed on a contractual basis and will not be entitled to regular government service benefits such as Provident Fund, Pension, or Gratuity. Private practice is strictly prohibited after joining.
• A security deposit of Rs. 20,000 via DD in favor of "ESI Fund A/c No. 1" payable at Surat is payable at the time of joining and refundable upon contract completion with no dues certificate. Resignation within six months may lead to forfeiture of the deposit.
• Candidates applying for multiple posts must submit separate applications, documents, and fees for each post.
• Dress code and behavior expectations, along with Aadhaar-enabled attendance, are mandated for all on-site attendance.
