Age Details

• Super Specialist and Specialist: Not exceeding 69 years as on date of interview
• Senior Resident: Not exceeding 45 years as on date of interview (relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per government rules)

Eligibility Details

Super Specialist (Full Time/Part Time)

• Recognized medical qualification included in the first or second Schedule or Part-II of the third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956
• MCh/DM/DNB or equivalent in the concerned super specialty
• All post-graduate additional qualifications must be registered with the Medical Council
• For Senior Consultant level: at least 5 years post-super specialty qualification experience
• Age not exceeding 69 years as on date of interview (tenure beyond 70 years not allowed)

Specialist (Full Time/Part Time)

• Post Graduate Degree/DNB or Diploma in the concerned specialty after MBBS with TCMC registration
• For Casualty/ICU: PG Degree or PG Diploma in Anesthesiology/General Medicine/Pulmonary Medicine/Emergency Medicine and registered with Medical Council
• Experience (Junior Level): 3 years for degree holders or 5 years for diploma holders
• Experience (Senior Level): 5 years for degree holders or 7 years for diploma holders
• All post-graduate qualifications must be registered with the Medical Council
• Age not exceeding 69 years as on date of interview (tenure beyond 70 years not allowed)

Senior Resident (1 Year, Pay Level 11)

• For superspeciality departments: DM/DrNB preferred over MD/DNB in General Medicine
• For specialty departments: Post Graduate Degree/DNB or Diploma in the concerned specialty after MBBS with TCMC registration
• For ICU: PG Degree or PG Diploma in Anesthesiology/General Medicine/Pulmonary Medicine/Emergency Medicine/Critical Care
• For Casualty: PG Degree/PG Diploma preferred; in absence of PG, MBBS with at least 2 years experience in concerned specialties
• Age not exceeding 45 years as on date of interview (relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per rules)
• Candidates who have completed 3 years of Senior Residency in any Central Institution are NOT eligible

Application Fee

• General, EWS & OBC Candidates: ₹250
• SC/ST Candidates: ₹50
• PWD/Female Applicants: Exempt from application fee
• Fee payable via Demand Draft drawn in favour of Employees' State Insurance Fund (Account No 1), payable at Kollam

Other Instructions

• Interview-based selection: based on qualifications, experience, and interview
• Candidates must appear in person for the walk-in interview with all original documents
• Bring one set of xerox copies of all documents and medical fitness verification
• Canvassing in any form is disqualification; private practice not allowed except for Part-time Super Specialists/Specialists
• No TA/DA for the interview
• Appointment subject to verification of all documents and medical fitness
• Selected candidates must sign an agreement on non-judicial stamp paper (₹200)
• Security deposit of ₹15,000 refundable after completion
