Age Details

• Specialists and Super Specialists: Less than 69 years.
• Senior Residents: Not exceeding 45 years. Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH as per rules.

Eligibility Details

Specialists

• PG Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognized university with 3 years of experience after PG Degree or 5 years after Diploma.

Senior Residents

• PG Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognized university. Non-PG candidates must have 2 years of experience in the relevant department.

Super Specialist

• Postgraduate qualification in the concerned specialty + DM/M.Ch in the relevant super specialty. Must be registered with the Medical Council of India or a State Medical Council.

Important Dates

• Walk-in Interview Date: 12 February 2026 at 10:00 A.M.
• Walk-in may be subject to venue and document verification as per ESIC guidelines.

Application Fees

• The notification does not specify any application fee. If applicable, check the form for DD details and exemptions.

General Information / Instructions

• Preference given to full-time specialists; part-time only if full-time posts are not available.
• Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD as per Central Government rules.
• Selected candidates must have a professional indemnity policy (Rs 10-30 lakhs depending on the specialty).
• Tenure: 1 year, extendable up to 3 years subject to approval and performance; may be terminated earlier if a regular candidate joins or on 1 month’s notice.
• No TA/DA for interview/joining.
• Security deposit of Rs. 50,000 (refundable) required at joining.
• Agreement on Rs. 100 stamp paper (borne by candidate).
• No claim for regular appointments, PF, Pension, or Gratuity.
• No hostel/quarters/uniform provided.
• No work-no-pay principle applicable.
• Part-time specialists: minimum 16 hours/week, with no leave entitlement.
• Candidates who have completed 3 years of Senior Residency need not apply for Senior Resident posts.
