ESIC Okhla Recruitment 2026 - Walk-in for Senior Resident & Specialist Posts

• Senior Resident (Under Residency Scheme): up to 45 years (as on 27.07.2026).
• Contractual Senior Resident: up to 45 years (as on 27.07.2026).
• Full Time Contractual Specialist: up to 69 years (as on 28.07.2026).
• Full Time/Part Time Contractual Super Specialist: up to 69 years (as on 28.07.2026). Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC applicable as per rules.

Senior Resident (Under Residency Scheme)

• Postgraduate degree or diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognized university, registered with the Delhi Medical Council (DMC), Medical Council of India (MCI), or State Medical Council.
• If PG/Diploma doctors are not available, MBBS doctors with two years of experience (including 1 year in the concerned specialty) in a government or private hospital may be appointed for 1 year on contract.
• As per National Medical Commission (NMC/MCI) guidelines, if Super-Speciality Senior Residents (MCh/DM) are not available, candidates from the parent broad specialty may be considered.
• If no suitable candidate is available, any other candidate may be considered for short-term engagement.

Contractual Senior Resident

• MBBS with PG Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty; registered with DMC/MCI/State Medical Council.
• Candidates with at least 2 years’ experience after MBBS (1 year in the concerned specialty) may apply if no PG/Diploma candidate is available.

Full Time Contractual Specialist

• MBBS with PG degree/diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognized university.
• 3 years’ experience after PG degree (Junior Specialist - Level 11) or 5 years’ experience after PG Diploma (Senior Specialist - Level 12).
• Registered with DMC/MCI/State Medical Council.

Full Time / Part Time Contractual Super Specialist

• MBBS, MD/MS/DNB with DM/DNB/M.Ch in the concerned Super Speciality from an MCI-recognized medical college, registered with DMC/MCI/State Medical Council.
• Entry Level: 3 years’ experience in the relevant Super-Speciality after the first PG degree, or 5 years after PG diploma.
• Senior Level: 5 years’ experience in the relevant Super-Speciality after the first PG degree.
• For DM/M.Ch qualifications of five years, the senior PG residency period counts toward experience.

• Walk-in Interview for Specialist/Super Specialist: 28 July 2026
• Reporting Time: 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM

Venue for the interview: ESIC Hospital, Sri Anandmayee Marg, Phase-1, Okhla, New Delhi-110020.

Application Fee

• SC/ST/PH candidates and Female candidates: Nil
• All other categories: Rs. 500
• Payment: Demand Draft in favour of "ESI Fund A/c No. 01" payable at New Delhi

Selection Process

• Selection is conducted purely through a walk-in interview; there is no online application process.
• Candidates must appear in person on the notified date and time with the prescribed application form and all original/photocopied documents for verification.

Documents Required for Walk-in Interview

• Identity proof (PAN card, Passport, Driving Licence, Voter ID, Aadhaar, etc.)
• Address proof, Date of Birth certificate, 2 recent passport-size photographs
• MBBS/PG degree certificates and mark sheets, MCI/DMC registration, experience certificates
• Caste/PH/EWS certificates if applicable, and other relevant documents
• Original documents for verification and one set of attested photocopies

Important Terms

• Private practice is not allowed for full-time contractual engagements.
• Engagement is contractual; no claim to regularization.
• Canvassing will lead to disqualification.
• Selected candidates may need to sign an agreement on non-judicial stamp paper.
• ESIC reserves the right to fill or cancel posts at any stage and to modify numbers as required.
