Age limit

• Senior Residents: Not exceeding 45 years as on the date of document verification and interview.

Eligibility criteria

• Qualification: As per NMC guidelines (for posts 1-21) as stipulated in Gazette Notification No. CG-DL-E-05072025-264399 dated 30.06.2025.
• For posts 22-25, candidates with a Master’s Degree/Diploma in the concerned departments/units are desirable. MBBS candidates with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the concerned department/unit may also apply.
• Experience: Academic qualification, teaching, and research experience will be as per the latest NMC guidelines.

General information and instructions

1. The recruitment is contractual; there is no claim for regularization.
2. Private practice is not allowed during the contractual period.
3. ESIC may modify or cancel vacancies at its discretion without giving reasons.
4. No TA/DA will be paid for the interview.
5. Canvassing shall lead to disqualification.
6. Hostel accommodation is not provided.
7. Contract may be terminated by either side with one month’s notice; reserves the right to renew the contract upon further advertisement if needed.
8. Selection is subject to medical fitness.
9. If selected, an appointment offer will be issued as required.
10. A security deposit of Rs. 30,000 must be deposited by DD/Bankers Cheque in favor of “ESI Fund Account No. 1” payable at Guwahati.
11. If the contract is resigned/terminated within 9 months, the security money will be forfeited.
12. No private practice is allowed during ESIC service tenure.

• Eligible candidates may attend the walk-in interview with original documents and one self-attested copy as per the schedule for their specialty. Outstation candidates may send dossiers via email to the provided address.
• Venue: Chamber of the Dean, ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Beltola, Guwahati-781022.
• Reporting Time: 09:00 am to 09:30 am.
• Applicants should fill out the application and email it along with MCI/SMC number and contact details; they may also attend the interview with all relevant documents.
