Age Limits

• Maximum age: 50 years for UR/EWS as on the closing date (27.07.2026).
• PwBD relaxation: up to 10 years; other relaxations as per government rules.
• For ESIC/Government servants: up to 5 years additional relaxation.
• PwBD/SC/ST/OBC relaxations are subject to cumulative limits and applicable rules.

Educational Qualifications

• Medical candidates must possess a recognized medical qualification (MBBS) with MD/MS or equivalent in the relevant specialty.
• Non-medical candidates must hold a postgraduate degree (Master’s) in the appropriate subject/allied discipline and a Doctorate (PhD) from a recognized university, as per MCI/NMC regulations.

Teaching Experience

• Four years of teaching experience as Reader/Associate Professor in a recognized medical college in the concerned specialty; OR
• Three years as Associate Professor in the concerned specialty with at least four research publications in indexed/national journals as first author (at least two during Associate Professor tenure).

Other Conditions

• Teaching experience must be recognized by the Medical Council of India/National Medical Commission or relevant body.
• PwBD candidates: minimum 40% disability with category-specific reservations where applicable.
