Age Limits

• Teaching Faculty (Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor): Maximum 69 years
• Senior Resident (Clinical): Maximum 45 years
• Senior Resident (Non-clinical): Maximum 50 years

Age Relaxation

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC: 3 years
• PH (Person with Disability): 10 years

Professor

• Qualification: MD/MS in the concerned subject
• Experience: Associate Professor level experience with three years in a recognized medical institution, or equivalent, including required research and training credentials as specified in the notification

Associate Professor

• Qualification: MD/MS in the concerned subject
• Experience: Four years as Assistant Professor in a recognized medical institution (or five years if appointed directly as Assistant Professor in a government medical institution); or five years of equivalent clinical teaching experience with research publications as specified

Assistant Professor

• Qualification: MD/MS in the concerned subject
• Experience: One year as Senior Resident in the subject in a recognized medical institution; or relevant teaching/clinical experience as detailed in the notification; or equivalent qualifications as described

Senior Resident

• Qualification: MD/MS in the concerned subject
• Experience: Relevant clinical and teaching experience as per specialty

Non-clinical Subjects (Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacology)

• Qualification: Master of Science with Doctor of Philosophy
• Experience: Qualifying teaching experience as applicable
