Age Limit

• Junior Scientific Assistant: Not exceeding 27 years.
• Junior Scientific Officer: Not exceeding 30 years.

Eligibility by post

Biology - Junior Scientific Assistant

• Master’s degree in Zoology or Botany or Microbiology or Anthropology or Biology or Human Biology or Life Science or Biochemistry or Genetics or Biotechnology or Molecular Biology or Forensic Science (with Zoology or Botany as subjects) or B.E./B.Tech. in Biotechnology.

Cyber Forensic - Junior Scientific Assistant

• Master’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Applications/Information Technology/Physics with Electronics/Cyber Security specialization or B.E./B.Tech. in CS/IT/E&C/E&I.

Physics - Junior Scientific Assistant

• Master’s degree in Physics/Forensic Science with Physics as a study subject for at least two years/four semesters at the B.Sc. level.

Chemistry - Junior Scientific Assistant

• Master’s degree in Chemistry or Toxicology or Biochemistry or Forensic Science with Chemistry as a subject during all years of B.Sc.

Ballistics - Junior Scientific Assistant

• Master’s degree in Physics/Mathematics/Applied Mathematics/Forensic Science with Physics or Mathematics as a subject during all years of B.Sc.

Lie-Detection - Junior Scientific Assistant

• Master’s degree in Psychology/Criminology.

Biology - Junior Scientific Officer

• Master’s degree in Biology-related fields (as specified) with required subject coverage; or equivalent qualifications as per the division.

Chemistry - Junior Scientific Officer

• Master’s degree in Chemistry or Toxicology or Biochemistry or Forensic Science with Chemistry as a subject.

Ballistics - Junior Scientific Officer

• Master’s degree in Physics/Mathematics/Applied Mathematics/Forensic Science with Physics/Mathematics as subjects.

Physics - Junior Scientific Officer

• Master’s degree in Physics or Forensic Science with Physics as a subject.

General Information / Instructions

1. Remuneration: Fixed monthly remuneration as specified (no additional allowances).
2. Age limit: As stated above with applicable relaxations.
3. Contract: Posts on a contractual basis for one year or till regular recruitment, whichever is earlier.
4. Vacancies may change; FSL reserves the right to fill or not fill posts.
5. Candidates must bring original documents and self-attested copies to the interview, along with a valid identity proof.
6. OBC reservations as per government rules.
7. Shortlisted candidates will be displayed on the official website and notice board.
8. No TA/DA for interview; candidates must arrange their own travel and stay.
9. If interviews cannot be completed on scheduled dates, they may be held on the next working day.
10. No postal or personal inquiries via phone will be entertained.
11. The Head of Department may terminate services anytime without assigning reason.
12. Selected candidates must submit an undertaking regarding regularization claims.
13. No relaxation in working hours; contract staff may be posted anywhere in Delhi or on mobile forensic vans.
14. Contract staff may have limited leave; other terms to be specified in the contract.
15. Contractual staff may need to execute a contract agreement on a Rs.100 stamp paper.
16. If a holiday falls on scheduled interview dates, interviews will be held on the next working day.
17. Jurisdiction for disputes is Delhi/New Delhi courts.
