FSSAI 11th Food Analyst Exam (FAE) 2025-26 - Online Apply | Eligibility, Dates & Fee

There is no age limit for appearing in the 11th FAE 2025-26.

Essential Educational Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Dairy Chemistry, Agriculture Science, Animal Science, Fisheries Science, Biotechnology, Food Safety, Food Technology, Food and Nutrition, Dairy Technology, Oil Technology, or Veterinary Sciences from a university established in India by law.
• OR an Associate of the Institution of Chemists (India) by examination in the Food Analysts section conducted by the Institution of Chemists (India).

Essential Experience

• At least three years of experience in the analysis of food in any institution, research institution, or research laboratory after attaining the required degree.
• Junior Analysts with three years of mandatory experience may appear only in the Practical Examination after CBT.
• The opportunity to appear in the Practical Examination is available only once in a lifetime for Junior Analysts.
• Upon qualifying the practical examination, the candidate may be declared a Food Analyst.

Examination Fees

• Computer Based Test (CBT): ₹2,500 plus 18% GST (Total: ₹2,950)
• Practical Examination: ₹5,000 plus 18% GST (Total: ₹5,900)

• Complete all required fields with accurate personal and academic information
• Upload supporting documents in the specified formats
• Read and accept the declaration before submission

Step 4: Payment

• Pay the application fee online as per the fee structure above
• Save or print the receipt for future reference

Selection Process

• The examination comprises CBT followed by a Practical Examination
