GBPUAT Assistant Professor Recruitment 2026 - Offline Application for 63 Posts

Eligibility by College

• College of Agriculture, College of Community Science, College of Basic Sciences & Humanities, College of Fisheries: Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in a relevant subject; NET/SET/SLET or Ph.D. as per UGC regulations. Ph.D. from a top-500-ranked foreign university/institution may also be considered.
• College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences: B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree with registration; Master’s degree (55%) with NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D.-based exemption criteria, OR Ph.D. from a top-500-ranked foreign university/institution.
• College of Technology: B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. (or Integrated M.Tech.) in relevant branch with first class or equivalent.
• College of Agribusiness Management: Bachelor's degree in any discipline; Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA)/PGDM/CA/ICWA/M.Com with first class or equivalent and two years’ professional experience after Master’s.

Relaxations

• 5% relaxation at both Bachelor’s and Master’s levels for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer) and differently-abled candidates for eligibility and academic records.
• 5% relaxation (from 55% to 50%) for Ph.D. holders who obtained their Master’s degree before 19 September 1991.

Application Fee

• UR & OBC: Rs. 1500
• EWS: Rs. 1000
• SC & ST: Rs. 750

Fee must be paid via Demand Draft in favour of the Comptroller, GB Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar, payable at a designated bank. The fee is non-refundable except in the case of refund for applicants under the cancelled notice A-28/2025.

How to Apply (Offline)

1. Download Annexure-I (Application Form) and Annexure-II (Score Sheet) from the official GBPUAT website.
2. Fill the form completely and attach a recent passport-size photograph.
3. Attach copies of degree certificates, mark sheets, experience certificates, publications, and other supporting documents.
4. Enclose a Demand Draft for the applicable fee in favour of the Comptroller, GB Pant University, Pantnagar.
5. Superscribe the envelope with the post name and relevant details and send it by Speed Post or Registered Post to the Chief Personnel Officer, Recruitment Section, GBPUAT, Pantnagar.
6. Ensure delivery by the deadline; postal delays are not the university’s responsibility.
