Age Limit

• Retirement age is 65 years for Deans and Directors.
• Candidates must have a minimum of two and a half years of service left as of 25-06-2026.

Dean, College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences

• Doctorate in Veterinary Sciences or related field with a consistently good academic record; minimum 15 years of teaching/research experience, including at least 5 years as Professor or equivalent.
• Ability to conduct and guide research.

Dean, College of Fisheries

• Ph.D./Doctorate in Fisheries Science or related field with a consistently good academic record; 15 years of teaching/research/extension experience, including at least 5 years as Professor or equivalent.
• Ability to conduct and guide research.

Dean, College of Agribusiness Management

• Ph.D./Doctorate in Management related discipline/Agriculture or Allied Science; 15 years of teaching/research/extension/industry experience, including at least 5 years as Professor or equivalent or senior position in industry.
• Ability to conduct and guide research.

Dean, College of Agriculture

• Ph.D./Doctorate in Agril. Science or related field with a consistently good academic record; 15 years of teaching/research/extension experience, including at least 5 years as Professor or equivalent.
• Ability to conduct and guide research.

Dean, College of Community Science

• Ph.D./Doctorate in Home Science or related field with a consistently good academic record; 15 years of teaching/research/extension experience, including at least 5 years as Professor or equivalent.
• Ability to conduct and guide research.

Dean, College of Basic Sciences & Humanities

• Ph.D./Doctorate in Basic Science/Social Science and Humanities; 15 years of teaching/research/extension experience, including at least 5 years as Professor or equivalent.
• Ability to conduct and guide research.

Dean, College of Technology

• Ph.D./Doctorate in Engineering/Technology or related field; 15 years of teaching/research/extension/industry experience, including at least 5 years as Professor or equivalent.
• Ability to conduct and guide research.

Dean, College of Post Graduate Studies

• Ph.D./Doctorate in Agriculture Science/Technology/Veterinary Sciences/Basic Sciences & Humanities/Fisheries/Forestry/Home Science or related field; 15 years of teaching/research/extension experience, including at least 5 years as Professor or equivalent.
• Ability to conduct and guide research.

Director Research

• Ph.D./Doctorate in Agriculture Science/Technology/Vety. Science/Animal Science/Home Science/Fisheries/Forestry/Biological Science or related field; 15 years of teaching and/or research experience, with at least 5 years as Professor or equivalent in an Agricultural University or research institute.
• Ability to conduct and guide research and possess administrative experience.

Director Extension Education

• Ph.D./Doctorate in Agriculture or allied science or related field; 15 years of teaching/research/extension experience, including at least 5 years as Professor or Equivalent in an agricultural University or Research Institute.
• Evidence of contribution to Research/Teaching/Extension Education; experience in planning/execution/coordination of Extension Programmes.
