Eligibility Details

• Doctorate Degree in the subject concerned.
• Master’s degree in the relevant discipline with at least 60% marks or equivalent in the point scale system.
• A relaxation of 5% may be provided at the graduate and Master’s level for the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Differently-abled (Physically and visually differently-abled) candidates.
• The NET/SLET will be an essential qualification in the discipline where NET/SLET is conducted by ICAR/UGC/CSIR or any other Central/State Govt. agency.
• In case where candidates with Ph.D. or NET/SLET are not available, the essential qualification shall be a first class M.Sc. degree in the related discipline.

General Information / Instructions

• Interested candidates may appear for a walk-in interview with a brief bio-data in the attached format on 04-02-2026 at 10:00 AM in the College Seminar Room, College of Basic Sciences & Humanities, G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar-263145.
• Bring original certificates and one set of self-attested copies of certificates (academic qualifications, teaching experience, publications, and reservation category).
• Terms and conditions of engagement will be as per University policy.
• The College reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of positions or not fill any position at its discretion without furnishing reasons.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview and no separate intimation will be given for the interview.
• If eligible candidates are not available from reserved categories, positions may be filled from the open category as per University rules.
