Age Limits

• Maximum age: 42 years as on 01-12-2025.
• Age relaxations: 5 years for SC/ST/BC/EWS; 3 years for Ex-servicemen; 10 years for Differently Abled Persons.
• Maximum age with all relaxations: 52 years.

Essential Qualifications by Post

• Office Subordinate: SSC or equivalent from a recognized board.
• Anesthesia Technician: Intermediate with Science, plus 2-year Diploma in Anesthesia Technician; must be registered with APPMB.
• Cardiology Technician: B.Sc. with 2-year Diploma in Cardiology Technician or B.Sc. in Cardiovascular Technology; must be registered with APPMB.
• Lab Technician: DMLT or B.Sc (MLT) or Intermediate (VOC) with one-year apprenticeship; must be registered with APPMB. If possessing both DMLT and B.Sc MLT, the higher percentage among the qualifications will be considered.
• Operation Theatre Technician: Diploma in Medical Sterilization Management & Operation Theatre Technician; registration with APPMB.
• General Duty Attendant: SSC/10th pass from a recognized board.
• Store Attendant: SSC or equivalent.
• Lab Attendant: SSC/10th or equivalent with Lab Attendant Course or Intermediate (Lab Attendant Vocational Course) recognized by the AP Govt or other recognized institutions.
• ECG Technician: Intermediate or equivalent; Diploma in ECG Technician; registered with APPMB.
• Library Assistant: Intermediate with CLISc (Certificate in Library Science).

Application Fees

• OC Candidates: Rs. 300
• BC/SC/ST/EWS/Ex-Service/PWD (Other than OC): Rs. 200

Application fee must be paid via Demand Draft in favor of Principal, Government Medical College, Rajamahendravaram. For multiple posts, each post requires a separate Demand Draft and separate application.

General Instructions

• Proforma of the application will be available on the portal eastgodavari.ap.gov.in from 10:00 AM on 26-12-2025 to 04:00 PM on 09-01-2026.
• Applications must be submitted at the specified counters in the office of the Principal/Additional DME, Government Medical College, Rajamahendravaram.
• Apply as early as possible to avoid last-minute delays.
• Obtain a dated acknowledgement after submission.
• Applications by post or email will not be accepted.
• District jurisdiction is Erstwhile East Godavari District; local candidate status will depend on 4th to 10th study certificates as per Presidential orders.
• Separate applications and envelopes are required for GMC and GTGH posts since counseling will be conducted separately.
• Final Merit Lists are valid for one year from the date of issue.
• Reservations follow AP State and Subordinate Services Rules; relaxations apply as indicated.
• Contract/outsourcing posts are initially for one year and may be extended under Government directives.
• The District Selection Committee reserves the right to terminate contract/outsourcing services with one month’s notice, or as directed by Government.
• Selected candidates must stay at the bonafide Head Quarters and comply with government rules in force.
