Essential Qualifications and Experience

• A basic university qualification included in the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 with registration in the State/Indian Medical Register (for medical posts).
• Specific postgraduate qualifications (MD/MS/DM/MCh/PhD/MSc as detailed department-wise in the notification).
• Three years of teaching experience in the concerned specialty after obtaining postgraduate qualification, as Lecturer/Registrar/Senior Resident/Demonstrator/Tutor in a recognized medical college or teaching institution (with variations for super-specialties and non-medical posts).
