Age Limit

• Upper age limit is 45 years as on 01-05-2026. Age relaxations as per Chandigarh Administration rules apply for reserved categories.

Eligibility Details

Educational Qualifications

• Postgraduate Medical Degree (MD/MS/DNB/MCh/DM) or equivalent in the relevant specialty, recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and registered with the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council.

Post Requirements

• Posts include Senior Resident, CMO (General Medicine & General Surgery), Resident Anaesthetist, and Resident Pathologist.

Note: These are tenure posts of 6 months, extendable as per Selection Committee recommendations and competent authority approval.

• General / OBC / EWS: Rs. 500 (non-refundable)
• SC: Rs. 250 (non-refundable)
• Fees payable on the spot at GMCH during Walk-in-Interview.
