Professor of Law

• Ph.D. in International Trade Law or Maritime Law with high-quality publications and a strong research record (minimum 10 publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals; total research score of 120 as per Appendix-II, Table-2, UGC Regulations, 2018).
• Master’s degree in Law with 55% marks (or equivalent) in International Law. Specialization in Maritime Law or International Trade Law desirable.
• At least ten years of teaching experience (University/College) or equivalent research experience, with evidence of doctoral supervision.
• Outstanding professionals with a Ph.D. in the relevant discipline and at least ten years of experience may also be considered.

Associate Professor of Law

• Ph.D. in International Trade Law or Maritime Law.
• Master’s degree in Law with 55% marks (or equivalent) in International Law. Specialization in Maritime Law or International Trade Law desirable.
• Minimum eight years of teaching and/or research experience with at least seven publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 75 as per Appendix-II, Table-2, UGC Regulations, 2018.

Assistant Professor of Law

• Master’s degree in Law with 55% marks (or equivalent) in International Law. Specialization in Maritime Law or International Trade Law desirable.
• 55% marks in the Master’s degree as mandatory; further specialization in Maritime Law or International Trade Law advantageous.

• Applications submitted without requisite fees will be rejected.

How to Apply

The application in the prescribed format along with the DD and supporting documents should reach The Registrar, Gujarat Maritime University, Transitory Campus at GNLU, Attalika Avenue, Knowledge Corridor, Koba, Gandhinagar, Gujarat 382426, India by 5:00 PM on or before 10 November 2025. The application form must be sent via Indian Post (Registered Post or Speed Post) or Courier. Applications submitted in person will not be accepted.
