Eligibility

Eligibility for Goa PSC Recruitment 2026

  • Dean, Goa College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences: Master’s degree in Veterinary and Animal Sciences with at least 55% marks (or equivalent); Ph.D in Veterinary and Animal Sciences; registration with Veterinary Council of India/State Veterinary Council; minimum 15 years of teaching/research experience at Professor/Associate Professor level; research publications and Research Score as per UGC guidelines; knowledge of Konkani.
  • Lecturer (Goa Medical College) - All Specialities: Recognized medical qualification listed in the First/Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956; PG degree or equivalent in the relevant specialty; at least 3 years of experience as Senior Resident/Registrar/Tutor/Demonstrator after PG degree; knowledge of Konkani.
  • Medico Legal Officer: Recognized medical qualification as above; PG degree/diploma in the relevant specialty; 3 years work after PG degree or 5 years after PG diploma in a responsible position; knowledge of Konkani.
  • Lecturer (Government Polytechnic) - Civil & Mechanical Engineering: 1st Class Master’s Degree or 1st Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology; knowledge of Konkani.
  • Lecturer (Government Polytechnic) - Chemistry & Maths: Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch with at least First Class; knowledge of Konkani.
  • Mamlatdars/Jt. Mamlatdar/Vigilance Officer: Degree in Law from a recognized university; knowledge of local revenue laws, law and order, planning and development; knowledge of Konkani.
