  • Nursing Officer/Principal, Class-II: M.Sc. (Nursing) with 3 years of teaching experience OR Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) / B.Sc. (Nursing) with 5 years of teaching experience (in a recognized nursing college/school/training institution as Nursing Tutor, Class-III).
  • Principal, Gujarat Nursing Service, Class-1: Postgraduate degree in Nursing.
  • Nursing Superintendent, Gujarat Nursing Service, Class-2: M.Sc. (Nursing) and/or Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing).
  • Women and Child Officer/ Deputy Director (Women Welfare), Class- I: Postgraduate degree in Social Work, Sociology or Psychology from a recognized university.
  • Deputy Director, Gujarat Statistical Services, Class-I: Postgraduate degree with at least second class in Statistics or related fields.
  • Manager Grade I, General State Service, Class-II: Degree in Hotel Management and Catering; Diploma in Hotel Management/Catering Technology.
  • Deputy Director of Horticulture: Ph.D. in Horticulture and a second class postgraduate degree in Horticulture.
  • Junior Staff Officer (Administration), Class-II: Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
