Age Limit

• Maximum age: 35 years.
• Age relaxations apply as per government rules for reserved categories and other eligible groups.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc) or an equivalent recognised qualification as per Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984.
• Basic knowledge of computer application.
• Knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi.

Other Requirements

• The candidate appointed by direct recruitment must register with the Gujarat Veterinary Council or Veterinary Council of India at the time of appointment if not already registered.
• As per commission office order dated 23/05/2023, candidates other than government employees/officers must submit an experience certificate in the prescribed format (available on the commission’s website).

• General (Unreserved): Rs. 100 plus applicable postal charges or Rs. 100 plus online service charges.
• Reserved categories, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) of Unreserved Gujarat State, Ex-Servicemen, and physically disabled candidates: No fee.
• Reserved category of other states: Application fee applicable.
