Age Limits

• Gram Sevak: Minimum 18 years; Maximum 35 years for General Male with relaxations based on category (up to 40-45 years for certain categories).
• Pashudhan Nirikshak: Minimum 18 years; Maximum 35 years for General Male with relaxations based on category (up to 40-45 years for certain categories). Note: Relaxations as per Gujarat government rules for SC/ST/SEBC/EWS, PwD, Ex-Servicemen, and other categories.

Eligibility Criteria

Gram Sevak (Class-3)

• Bachelor of Rural Studies (excluding Home Science) or B.Sc. (Agriculture) / B.E. (Agriculture) / B.Tech. (Agricultural Engineering) / B.Sc. (Horticulture) or Diploma in Agriculture / Horticulture / Agricultural Engineering / Polytechnic Diploma in Agriculture Co-operation, Banking & Marketing from a recognized university
• Basic knowledge of computer applications
• Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi (or both)

Pashudhan Nirikshak / Livestock Inspector (Class-3)

• A three-year Diploma in Animal Husbandry from a recognized university/institution (distance learning not eligible)
• Basic knowledge of computer applications
• Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi (or both)
