Age Limit

• UR / EWS: 28 years
• OBC: 31 years
• SC / ST: 33 years

The upper age limit is as on 31 July 2026. PwBD and other category relaxations are as per government guidelines.

GSL Trainee Project Executive Eligibility

Mechanical Discipline

• Full-time regular B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. Engineering (4 years) in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university or institute.

Electrical Discipline

• Full-time regular B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. Engineering (4 years) in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university or institute.

Electronics Discipline

• Full-time regular B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. Engineering (4 years) in Electronics Engineering from a recognized university or institute.

Naval Architecture Discipline

• Full-time regular B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. Engineering (4 years) in Naval Architecture from a recognized university or institute.

Finance Discipline

• Graduation along with any one of the following:
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI)
  • Qualified Cost Accountant (ICMA)
  • 02 Years PG Diploma / PG Degree in Finance

Application Fee

• ₹500 for general and OBC candidates.
• Exemptions: SC/ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, and GSL Graduate Apprentices and GSL Advance Trainees are exempted.
• Payment: Online via SBI e-pay.

• Candidates must apply online through the official GSL portal within the stipulated window.
• Ensure all required documents are uploaded and the application fee is paid (where applicable).
• The selection process comprises Written Test, Document Verification, and Group Discussion/Interview. The final scores will be based on a combination of Written Test (85%) and Group Discussion/Interview (15%).
• For age calculations, use the official cut-off date of 31 July 2026. Age relaxations will follow government norms.
• This recruitment is on a contractual basis for 2 years, extendable up to 1 year.
