Age Details

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 37 years
• Age relaxations as per category and other reservations are applicable as per government rules.

Educational Qualifications

• Possess a Master of Science degree in Home Science, Food and Nutrition, Nutrition and Dietetics, Food Science & Nutrition, Food Service Management and Dietetics, or Clinical Nutrition.
• The degree must be from a university established or incorporated by Central or State law in India, or an institution recognised as such, or declared a deemed university under section 3 of the UGC Act 1956.
• Possess basic computer knowledge as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.
• Possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
• Educational qualifications fixed by Health and Family Welfare Department resolution dated 02/02/2019 shall be valid for direct recruitment.

Essential Requirements

• Candidate must be a citizen of India or hold nationality as per Rule-7 of Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.
• Candidates must have all original certificates regarding educational qualifications, age, school leaving certificate, category certificates (SC/ST/SEBC/EWS), disability certificate (if applicable), ex-serviceman certificate (if applicable), and other qualification certificates.

Desirable/Additional Qualifications

• Computer knowledge certificate from any training institution or marksheet showing basic computer knowledge.
• Certificate showing computer knowledge from a government-recognized university or institution.
• Certificate showing computer as a subject in Degree/Diploma curriculum.
• Certificate of passing Standard 10 or Standard 12 examination with computer subject.

Fee Payment

• Fee must be paid online through Debit Card, Internet Banking, UPI, or Wallets.

• Fee payment deadline: 29/01/2026 (23:59 hours).
• Fees are non-refundable except as mandated by examination rules; fee payment receipts should be saved for future reference.
• Online-only payments are accepted; offline payments are not allowed.
