Age Details

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Maximum age: 45 years (as on 29-06-2026)
• Relaxations: applicable per category as described above. Ex-Servicemen receive additional relaxations.

Educational Qualification

• Passed Secondary (SSC) or Higher Secondary (HSC) from a recognized board.
• Completed the Female Health Worker Basic Training Course recognized by the Government, OR completed the Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) Course recognized by the Government and registered with the Gujarat Nursing Council.
• Basic computer knowledge as per Gujarat Civil Services Rules.
• Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

Computer knowledge note: Candidates without a current computer certificate may apply but must submit a valid Basic Computer Knowledge certificate before appointment.

Age Limit (as on 29-06-2026)

• General (Unreserved): Maximum 40 years
• General Category Female: 45 years (with +5 years relaxation)
• Reserved Category Female (SEBC/SC/ST/EWS): 45 years (+10 years relaxation)
• General Category Female with Disability: 45 years (+15 years relaxation)
• Reserved Category Female with Disability: 45 years (+20 years relaxation)
• Ex-Servicemen: 40 years + period of service + 3 years

Minimum age: 18 years. Reserved category benefits apply to candidates domiciled in Gujarat.

Application Fee

• Unreserved (General): ₹500
• Reserved (All categories including female, SEBC, SC, ST, EWS, Divyang, Ex-Servicemen): ₹400

Note: Fee payment closes on 01-07-2026 (23:59 hrs). Payment methods include Debit Card, Internet Banking, UPI, or Wallets. Fees are non-refundable if the candidate does not appear for the exam.

How to Apply

Applications must be submitted online only at the OJAS portal. Ensure you have all original certificates ready before filling the form. After confirmation, no corrections are allowed. Follow the steps on the portal to complete the application and fee payment by the stated deadlines.

Important Notes

• Only female candidates are eligible.
• A valid Female Health Worker Basic Training Certificate or ANM Certificate registered with the Gujarat Nursing Council is mandatory.
• Computer knowledge is required; candidates without a certificate should obtain one before appointment.
• The selection process comprises a single-stage written exam with 210 questions (MCQ/CBRT/OMR), followed by certificate verification and merit-based selection.
• Negative marking: 1/4 marks for each wrong answer.
• There is no interview stage.
