Eligibility Details

Educational Qualification

• A Diploma in Horticulture from a Polytechnic affiliated with a recognized Agriculture/Horticulture University.
• Basic computer knowledge as prescribed by the recruitment rules.
• Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi, or both.

Age Limit

• 18 to 33 years as on 17 August 2026.
• Age relaxations as applicable for certain categories as per government rules.

Application Fee

Preliminary Exam Fee

• Unreserved (General): ₹500
• Reserved (Women of all categories, SEBC, SC, ST, EWS, PwD, Ex-Servicemen): ₹400

The fee is paid online via Debit Card, Internet Banking, UPI, or Wallets. A transaction fee may apply. Fees are non-refundable for non-appearing candidates.

Important Instructions

• Reservation benefits and age relaxations apply to Gujarat domicile candidates in specified categories.
• Category details entered online cannot be changed after confirmation.
• PwD candidates seeking scribe/compensatory time must submit the required form via email two days before the exam.
• Retain multiple copies of the same photograph for all recruitment stages.
• Unfair means act will attract legal action and disqualification.
• Only the last confirmed application with paid fee will be considered valid.

Documents to Prepare

• Educational certificates, age proofs, category certificates, disability certificates (if applicable), and Ex-Servicemen status documents.
• Reserved category certificates must be in Gujarat Government-prescribed format from a competent authority.
• SEBC non-creamy layer certificate (1 Apr 2024 to 17 Aug 2026); EWS certificate as required.
• PwD disability certificate (Form V/VI/VII).

How to Apply

1. Visit ojas.gujarat.gov.in
2. Click Online Application > Apply > GSSSB
3. Choose Advertisement No. 454/202627, Bagayat Madadnish, Class-3, Apply
4. Review notification, then Apply, fill personal and educational details, accept terms, and save to generate Application Number
5. Upload photo and signature in JPG format (max 15 KB each)
6. Confirm application with Application Number and Date of Birth
7. Print/Download the submitted application
8. Pay the online examination fee by 20 August 2026
