Educational Qualification

• HSC/12th standard with Physics, Chemistry, and English, as prescribed by the Health and Family Welfare Department.
• Basic computer knowledge is required. Knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi is desired.

Application Fee

• Unreserved (UR): ₹500
• Reserved categories (including all women, SEBC, SC, ST, EWS, PwD, Ex-servicemen): ₹400 Payment is online via Debit Card, Internet Banking, UPI, or Wallet. The last date to pay the exam fee is 6 August 2026 (11:59 PM).

Salary and Promotion

• Initial fixed pay of ₹26,000 per month for the first five years.
• After five years, regular Pay Level-2 of the 7th Pay Commission (₹19,900-₹63,200 per month) with applicable benefits, subject to government resolutions.

Selection Process

• Single-stage computer-based/OMR written examination (210 marks: Part A 90 marks, Part B 120 marks) with negative marking.
• Qualifying marks: 40% in each part.
• Post-exam: provisional answer key, objections, final answer key, provisional result, and document verification follow.

• School leaving certificate (age proof)
• Category certificate if applicable (SC/ST/SEBC/EWS)
• Computer knowledge certificate (if available)
• PwD certificate (if applicable)
• Discharge book/identity card for ex-servicemen (if applicable)
• Recent passport-size photo with white background
• Proof of not having remarried for widows claiming 5% weightage (if asked)

How to Apply

• Apply online at ojas.gujarat.gov.in by selecting GSSSB and Advertisement No. 433/2026-27, then complete Personal Details, Educational Details, upload photo/signature, and confirm submission. Keep the Application Number and Confirmation Number for fee payment and future reference.

• Apply only once. Multiple submissions will be rejected except the last confirmed application with the correct fee paid.
