HAL Apprentices Recruitment 2026 Walk-in at HAL Bangalore: Diploma, BE/BTech & Non-Engineering Graduates NATS Apprenticeship Training

Eligibility (Common across all drives)

• Qualification must be from a recognised Indian university, awarded on or after 01 August 2021.
• Applicants who have already undergone, are currently undergoing, or are registered under a NATS contract elsewhere under the Apprenticeship Act are not eligible.
• Candidates with work experience of one year or more are not eligible.

Stream-wise eligibility

• Diploma Holders: 3-year Diploma in Engineering (courses approved by DTE) in the relevant stream, awarded on or after 01 August 2021.
• BE/BTech Graduates: BE/BTech degree in the relevant engineering stream from a recognised university in India, awarded on or after 01 August 2021.
• Non-Engineering Graduates: BA / B.Sc. / B.Com / BBA / BCA in the specified stream, awarded on or after 01 August 2021.

Note: GPA/CGPA must be accompanied by official conversion guidelines from the university. Lateral entry diploma candidates must provide marks sheets for semesters 3-6 (diploma) or 3-8 (BE/BTech).

• Non-Engineering Graduates Walk-in: 19-06-2026
• BE/BTech Graduates Walk-in (by stream): 22-06-2026 to 26-06-2026
• Reporting Time: 08:00 to 11:00 Hrs on all dates

Application Fees

• There is no application fee mentioned for any of the HAL NATS drives.

Walk-in Process and Venue

• Venue: Technical Training Institute, Suranjan Das Road, Bangalore - 560017
• Reporting Time: 08:00 to 11:00 Hrs on the respective dates
• No online application form is required; registration is via the NATS portal (see below) and attendance is physical at the venue.

Required Documents (bring originals and two passport-size photos)

• For Diploma Holders: 10th marks, Diploma certificate, semester 1-6 marks (3-6 for lateral entry), GPA/CGPA conversion guidelines if applicable, Caste/PWD certificate (if applicable), NATS portal registration, two photos, and copies of documents.
• For BE/BTech Graduates: 10th marks, Degree certificate, semester 1-8 marks (3-8 for lateral entry), GPA/CGPA conversion guidelines if applicable, Caste/PWD certificate (if applicable), NATS portal registration, two photos, and copies of documents.
• For Non-Engineering Graduates: 10th marks, Degree certificate, semester 1-6 marks, GPA/CGPA conversion guidelines if applicable, Caste/PWD certificate (if applicable), NATS portal registration, two photos, and copies of documents.

NATS Portal Registration

• Register as a “STUDENT” at www.mhrdnats.gov.in before attending the walk-in and bring a printed copy of the registration form to the venue.
• There is no TA/DA paid for attending the walk-in. Canvassing will lead to disqualification.

Selection and Stipend

• Selection is on merit and on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to vacancy and without a written exam.
• Stipend: Diploma Rs. 10,900 per month; BE/BTech and Non-Engineering Graduates Rs. 12,300 per month. Fifty percent of the stipend is borne by the Government under NATS.
