Age Details

• Maximum age limit: 28 years as on 10-12-2025.
• For Ex-Servicemen, age relaxation as per policy may apply (not exceeding the stated relaxations).

Eligibility Details

TBE-XSM-01 Mechanical/Electrical

• Qualification: Diploma in Engineering (full-time and regular) in the relevant trade from a recognized Board of Technical Education/Institute, OR a Diploma awarded by Indian Air Force/Indian Army/Indian Navy after prescribed training.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of aircraft maintenance experience.

TBE-XSM-02 Aerodrome

• Qualification: Intermediate/10+2/equivalent examination in any stream approved by Central/State Education Boards.

• Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience in aerodrome/flight operations at a flying base/station.

• Note: Qualifications must be obtained through regular mode only.

Application Fee

• Rs. 200/- (non-refundable).
• SC/ST/PwBD candidates are exempted from payment.
• Fee payment is online.

Other Instructions

• Only Indian nationals are eligible.
• Engagement is tenure-based for a maximum of four years and does not guarantee permanent employment.
• Selected candidates will undergo induction training for 8 weeks and may be deployed to HAL locations as required.
• Higher qualifications than prescribed should not be applied for; such candidature may be rejected at any stage.
• Health standards will be assessed during pre-employment medical examination.
