Age Limit

General (UR): 23 years as on 30-06-2026 OBC: 26 years (3 years relaxation) SC/ST: 28 years (5 years relaxation) PwD: 33 years (10 years relaxation)

Educational Qualification

Must have passed regular and full-time 10th/SSC/HSC AND ITI under Craftsman Training Scheme (CTS) in the relevant trade from a recognized institute. Both qualifications must be from Odisha state only.

Domicile

Odisha state only - 10th and ITI from a recognized institute in Odisha.

Prior Apprenticeship

Candidates who have already undergone, are currently undergoing, or are already registered under a NAPS contract elsewhere are NOT eligible.

Work Experience

Candidates with work experience of 1 year or more are NOT eligible.

NAPS Portal Registration

Candidates must register as "Candidate" on the NAPS apprenticeship portal and complete their profile to 100% before applying. Name, Gender, and Date of Birth on the NAPS portal must match exactly with the 10th/SSC certificate.

Important Instructions

• This is an Apprenticeship Training engagement under NAPS and NOT employment. HAL has no obligation to offer employment after training.
• Only candidates from Odisha (10th and ITI from Odisha) are eligible. Applications from other states will not be considered.
• Register on the NAPS portal (https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in/) and complete the profile to 100% before applying. Name, Gender, and Date of Birth on the NAPS portal must match exactly with the 10th certificate.
• Candidates with prior NAPS contracts elsewhere or with 1 year or more of work experience are not eligible.
• Selection is merit-based: 70% weightage to 10th marks and 30% to ITI marks; no written test or interview.
• Shortlisted candidates will be informed via email only. No TA/DA for selection process or document verification.
• Enclose documents: 10th/HSC/SSC mark sheet, ITI NCVT certificate, consolidated mark sheet, caste/EWS/disability certificate (as applicable), and other relevant documents.
• Marking on the envelope should read: "NAPS APPLICATION".
• PwBD candidates must have at least 40% disability for reservation and age relaxation.
• Hostel facility is subject to availability; subsidised lunch is available inside factory premises on working days.
