Age Limit

• Minimum 18 years as on 01-01-2026. There is no upper age limit specified beyond the standard eligibility. Age relaxations as per Government of India rules apply for reserved categories.

Eligibility Details

Trade Apprentices (ITI Holders)

• Full-time ITI in the relevant trade from NCVT/SCVT recognized by the government. Minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD). Equivalency certificate required if applicable.
• Portal registration on NAPS with 100% profile completion and Aadhaar verification.

Graduate Apprentices (B.Tech/B.E.)

• B.Tech/B.E. degree in Engineering/Technology from a statutory University. CGPA/OGPA/CPI conversions as applicable; if conversion criteria exist, follow them.
• Portal registration on NATS with 100% profile completion and Enrollment Number.

Technician Apprentices (Diploma Holders)

• Diploma in Engineering in relevant discipline. Minimum marks as required by the portal (enter % of Marks/CGPA in NATS).
• Portal registration on NATS with 100% profile completion and Enrollment Number.

Passing Years

Candidates must have passed ITI/Diploma/B.Tech during 2022-2026 (inclusive).

Application Fee

• There is no application fee for HOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026. Online application through NAPS/NATS portals is free for all categories.

Additional Instructions

• Prior registration on the respective portals (NAPS for ITI; NATS for Diploma/B.Tech) with 100% completed profile is mandatory.
• Shortlisting is based on percentage of marks in the qualifying examination, followed by document verification, written test/skill test/interview, and medical fitness.
• Call letters will be issued by email or through the HOCL website; no postal dispatch.
• HOCL reserves the right to fill or not fill the seats and to modify the selection process as required.
• Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
• Do not canvass; candidates must apply through the designated portals only.
