Age Limit

The age of candidates should be below 57 years as on 01 January 2026.

Candidates should be a retired or released Indian Army Commissioned Officer at the rank of Colonel, Lieutenant Colonel, Major, Captain, or the equivalent status in the Indian Navy/Air Force. 

### Desirable Qualification
Knowledge of the customs, manners, and dialects of Himachal Pradesh, and suitability for appointment in the state conditions is desirable.```

2. Click on the Online Recruitment Application (ORA) link.
3. Complete One Time Registration (OTR) if not registered.
4. Login with registered credentials.
5. Select the HPPSC Deputy Director Recruitment 2026 advertisement.
6. Fill in required personal and educational details.
7. Upload documents, photo, and signature.
8. Pay the application fee online.
9. Submit the form and keep a copy for future reference.

Candidates must apply online through the official HPPSC portal. Applications received through any other mode will not be accepted.
