Age Details

Minimum Age: 18 years Maximum Age: 45 years Age relaxation as per government rules for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Himachal Domicile/Ex-Servicemen up to 5 years.

Educational Qualifications

• 10+2 with 50% marks or Senior Secondary with 50% marks from a recognized Board of School Education and 2 years Junior Basic Teacher (JBT) course/Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) from an institute affiliated to HPBOSE.
• Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 2 years JBT / Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
• Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks and 2 years JBT / Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) per NCTE regulations 2002.
• Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
• Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education).
• Graduation with 2 years JBT / Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.).
• Post-Graduation with minimum 55% and three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. or equivalent.
• Pass in Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by HP Board of School Education or other authorized agency.
