Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 45 years
• Age relaxation: Up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Himachal Domicile/Ex-Servicemen.

Educational Qualifications

• 10+2 with 50% marks or Senior Secondary with 50% marks and 2 years Junior Basic Teacher (JBT) course/Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) from an institute affiliated to HPBOSE, or
• Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 2 years JBT/D.El.Ed. (as applicable), or
• Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks and 2 years JBT/D.El.Ed. (as applicable, in accordance with NCTE regulations), or
• Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.), or
• Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education), or
• Graduation with 2 years JBT/D.El.Ed., or
• Post-Graduation with a minimum 55% marks and three years integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. and pass in TET conducted by the HP Board of School Education or an agency authorized by the Government.
